This Privacy Policy explains how TrackStack collects, uses, shares, and protects information obtained through the TrackStack Time Management iOS app. By using the app, you agree to the terms outlined below. We encourage you to read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information and how we manage it.

1. Information Collection and Usage

TrackStack collects and stores data primarily to deliver a seamless user experience, ensure data synchronization across devices, and provide app functionality as intended. We use Apple’s CoreData and CloudKit frameworks for data management and storage. Information collected and managed includes:

a. User-Provided Information

• Any data you enter or provide within the app, such as settings, preferences, and content generated by you, is stored using CoreData locally on your device.

b. Automatically Collected Information

• Certain information, such as usage statistics, app diagnostics, and crash reports, may be collected automatically to improve app functionality and performance. This data may be shared with Apple through CloudKit.

2. Data Storage and Synchronization

CoreData (Local Storage):
All data created and stored in the app is initially saved on your device using CoreData. This means your information remains private and accessible only within the app on your specific device.

CloudKit (Cloud Storage):
To enable data synchronization across multiple iOS devices linked to your Apple ID, TrackStack utilizes CloudKit. When synchronization is enabled, data stored in CoreData is securely transferred to CloudKit to facilitate cross-device access.

Note:
CloudKit is managed by Apple, and data stored here is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Data synced through CloudKit remains encrypted and accessible only to you and those with access to your iCloud account.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

TrackStack does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We may share non-personal data with third-party service providers who assist in app analytics, diagnostics, and improvements. However, no personally identifiable information is shared.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or in response to a government request.

4. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your information and use industry-standard encryption and security practices to secure data both in local storage and during synchronization with CloudKit. However, please be aware that no system can guarantee absolute security.

5. User Control and Data Retention

You retain control over your data within TrackStack. You may:

• Delete Data: Remove your data by deleting content within the app or uninstalling the app entirely.
• Revoke Cloud Synchronization: You may disable iCloud for TrackStack through your iOS settings, which will stop the synchronization process with CloudKit.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or update the policy's effective date.
